Apollo Discovery Smoke & Heat Detectors

The Apollo Discovery range is an Analogue Addressable selection of equipment.  The Apollo Discovery range of detectors are suitable for use on Apollo Discovery & Apollo XP95 fire alarm system loops.

Apollo Discovery Multi Detectors

Along with the Apollo Discovery Smoke and Heat Detectors there is also a multi criteria detector available.  This unit features both an optical smoke and heat sensing element.  This device is particularly useful in false alarm management as the detector need to sense both smoke particles and a heat source in order to go into an alarm state.  One area where this would be of particular use is in hotel bedrooms where steam from a shower may set off a standard smoke detector.  Whereas a multi criteria detector would not be activated by the steam as there would not have been any change in heat within the room.
