Apollo Alarmsense Smoke Detector - Optical Two Wire 55000-390
The 55000-390 Apollo Alarmsense Smoke Detector is specifically designed to be used on Apollo Alarmsense Two Wire Fire Alarm Systems. This detector is an optical type smoke detector which can be used on two wire fire alarm system circuits along with sounders and beacons on the same circuit.
The 55000-390 Apollo Alarmsense optical smoke detector uses an internal pulsing LED and a photo-diode at an obtuse angle. In the event of smoke entering the chamber, the light pulse from the LED will be scattered and registered by the photo-diode. The detector will then enter the alarm state and the indicator LED lights up.
