The C-Tec C4403B is an type B fixed temperature high heat detector. It uses a thermal element to measure the ambient temperature within a room.. This sensor is rated at 75 degrees celcius and will activate when the ambient room temperature reaches this level.
This detector is ideal for use in areas with an extremely high normal ambient temperature where standard fixed temperature heat detectors or rate of rise heat detectors would false alarm.
