The D5387-227 is Kidde Alarmline Digital Linear Heat Detection Cable which is available in 100m increments.  The Kidde Alarmline (H9650) Cable is designed to give a fire activation at temperatures between 229 & 251 Degrees Celcius.

This Kidde AlarmLine Digital Linear Heat Sensor is a twin conductor cable with temperature-sensitive insulation protected by a special braid, PVC or fluoropolymer outer sheath to meet specific application requirements.

The Kidde AlarmLine Linear Heat Detector provides early detection of fire or overheating conditions by detecting changes in temperature in localised areas or over its entire length. It is especially suited for confined areas or harsh environments where adverse ambient conditions cause other detection devices to be unreliable or difficult to use.
